After realizing that home vent hoods were not up to par with others in the industry, Alex Siow worked to incorporate industrial technology into a home vent system. Before this time, industrial grade vent hoods for residential use were in very low demand. People simply accepted what was available.
Zephyr hoods were developed that were high performance with low noise operation. Zephyr realized that the hood needed to be more powerful, yet run quietly and be nearly invisible to the ears when turned on. This was met nicely with Zephyr hoods Power line of hoods. Then Zephyr upped the ante by adding features like filter free operation and self cleaning options that were never before made available to the residential user.

The aim of Zephyr hoods was to raise the exhaust hood to a more prominent position in the house. Zephyr hood online has three distinct lines of designs.
The basic Zephyr hood is available in their Essentials line. These hoods are designed to be installed anywhere that needs a vent hood.
